Seminar star Jeff Goldblum will guest star as Sarah Silverman’s ex-boyfriend in a new NBC pilot Susan 313, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Should the network pick up the pilot, Goldblum is expected to appear in future episodes of the series as well.
Susan 313 stars Silverman as a woman readjusting to single life following a split with her live-in boyfriend of over a decade. The series is loosely based on Silverman's own life and experience with former boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel.
Goldblum will step into Broadway’s Seminar at the Golden Theatre on April 3, replacing Alan Rickman as the tough-as-nails instructor Leonard. Goldblum currently has a reoccurring role on the Fox hit Glee as Rachel Berry’s (Lea Michele) father Hiram.
He last appeared on Broadway in Martin McDonagh’s The Pillowman in 2005. His other Broadway credits include The Play What I Wrote, The Moony Shapiro Songbook and Two Gentlemen of Verona. Goldblum is primarily known for his TV and film work, including Jurassic Park, The Big Chill, Independence Day, Will & Grace and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
